Music plays a big part in the life of St Paul's, especially in worship. Music in worship includes organ and choirs, bands, instrumental and keyboard groups, string groups, and acapella singing groups.
Traditional and Contemporary
Every worship service includes a lot of singing and lots of music accompaniment, ranging from traditional to more contemporary. There are many ways to be involved with music at St Paul's:
Playing the organ or piano at worship services
Singing in the choir
Singing with one of our bands
Playing a musical instrument with one of our bands
Operating the sound mixing desk
St Paul's employs two people part-time to coordinate music. Alan Collyer serves as an organist and choir director. Sue Westhorp coordinates instrumental music at St Paul's.
