Learning Ministry

St Paul's offers several courses on a regular basis. We are currently running 'Learning Christ', a ten week course on the basics of Christianity.

 

Bible Studies

  • Informal, interactive style
  • Short courses on various books of the Bible

 

Focused Living

  • Explores issues of personal development, personal life story and mission statement
  • A 9 month course, meeting once per month with the group and once per month with your mentor

 

Introducing God

  • A short, practical introduction to the Christian faith, exploring the relevance of Jesus for our lives
  • Team-led 10 week course with videos and small group discussion
  • Each session begins with a meal
  • Held at church centre, several times a year
  • No question too silly or difficult

 

Learning Christ

  • Deals with more church-related topics like worship, baptism, and communion
  • Particularly prepared for people wishing to explore becoming baptised or becoming members at St Paul's by learning more about Lutheranism.

 

Library

  • St Paul's runs the 'Martin Luther Library' conveniently located in the church centre
  • Wide range of materials - books, tapes, magazines and videos

 

St Paul's Bookshop

  • A small bookshop is staffed on Sunday mornings between 10 am and 11 am
  • Sells devotional materials, gifts and cards
